Bush Club News

There are lots of native plants around the school – planted by bush clubbers (anyone who comes to an activity is a Bush Clubber).
The rain has been great for the plants but it will be next season before they look like these ones in the bush.

Go for a walk and see how many rare and beautiful plants you can spot in the bush. If you see any weeds please pull them up to give the plants a chance. Be careful where you tread though because some of the Conostylus are still only two centimetres high.

Watch out for vandalism – digging up ancient plants to make bike ramps; graffiti – someone who just wants to leave their tag. Maybe they will learn how great it is to adopt a plant by writing on the plant shield and looking out for it.

When should we have our next Bush Club meet?
Tuesday 15th September or Thursday 17th September. Comment if you are interested and we will meet on the most popular day.
Abbey, Lavender, Katie and Charlotte will be manning the HOPE stall at the next assembly. Watch out for gift cards, bags, coasters, plant buddies and plants to boost our funds. Soon soil wetter and stakes will be needed. Binoculars are on the list too. Send a comment. Tell a friend!
